Marhaba (15 November 2023) identified Vidi as chairperson of the Indonesian Football Association in Qatar (IFQ), during activities ahead of the AFC Asian Cup Qatar 2023, held in January–February 2024. The Peninsula (28 April 2024) also covered his role as an Indonesian fan leader at the AFC U23 Asian Cup Qatar 2024, helping supporters with tickets and stadium support.
